The end of the school year has arrived, but before we expose ourselves to the sun and plunge into the water, let me look back. On the last Saturday of May we organized a club tournament for our youngest children and younger pupils. About 50 competitors took part, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. The tournament was opened by Mayor Martin Sobotka, who wished all participants plenty of sporting success. The same day, in the afternoon, we had a meet-up with the coaches, a get-together with parents, and a campfire by the Budulínek clubhouse.
The next day, Adam and his brother Matěj Hajný, together with Filip Jára from the beginners, took part in the NE WAZA tournament in Kašperské Hory, where all three fought their way to fine second places.
From Thursday, June 4, we added athletic training at the stadium below the railway station to our sessions, because our gym is undergoing renovation. From September, training will start in better conditions, for which we thank our sponsors and the town of Dobřany.
