On September 27, the regional championships for the U-14 category and the JZR U-16 tournament took place at the Sports Gymnasium in Plzeň. Two girls fought for our team in U-14: Barbora Kadlečková and Karolína Fojtíková. Both put on fine matches and deservedly won gold, becoming Pilsen Region champions in their weight categories. With this success, both qualified for the Czech national championships, held on November 15, 2025, in Teplice.
This event was followed by the Southwest region tournament, where we had two younger juniors. The matches in this group were very even — Jan Šulc took third place and Vašek Kule finished fourth. On October 3–4 we held a club seminar where the kids refined their personal techniques under the guidance of experienced coaches. More tournaments await us in November, for both younger and older judokas.
