The kids are looking forward to the end of the school year, and it shows at practice. Concentration has gone missing, so we focus more on movement games and strength work. I must still return to the previously mentioned tournament in Beroun. We sent five kids there; from the beginners, Eliáš Sankot took third place. The younger pupils Josef Kapoun and Michal Váňa also started, both fighting their way to third places. Štěpán Hrábek and Vojta Mareš took part as well, but unfortunately neither broke through.
In June we performed at the children's day for our sponsor PENNY, where we put on a demonstration of judo and self-defense. For the season's final practices on June 16–17, the athletes' parents were invited to join in and test their sporting skills together with their kids — and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. In the summer, a camp in the form of a day camp still awaits us, where the kids will raise their performance KYU grades. Now, on behalf of the coaching team, all that remains is to wish all the kids a happy summer and an even better return to the mats.
