After the spring camp, the kids took part in the Blatná Grand Prix. Milan Čmolík, Maxim Dezort, Štěpán Hrábek, Klára Kadlečková, Vojta Vácha, Maxim Kleisner, Vojta Mareš, Michal Váňa, Václav Kule, and Jan Šulc set out to fight for our club. We brought home three medals — Klára Kadlečková took 2nd place, Maxim Kleisner and Vojta Mareš fought their way to 3rd places. The other kids fought very well, but it was not enough to advance to the medal rounds. I must praise mainly the younger pupils, who had even win–loss records — their improvement was clear to see.
In May we went to fight at the Trilobit Cup in Králův Dvůr. Štěpán Rais competed among the youngest, showing great improvement, though not enough for a medal. His brother Matyáš had a bit more luck and took 3rd place. Tobiáš Hajný also started among younger pupils and fought his way to 1st place. In the older pupils' category, only Karolína Fojtíková fought for our club, taking 3rd place. Václav Kule also competed but unfortunately did not place.
At the end of May, the last tournament before the holidays still awaits us — the Beroun Town Cup. Our charges will fight there too, so on behalf of the coaches and parents I wish them plenty of success.
