The end of February and beginning of March were marked by training camps, the first of which took us to Domažlice on February 22. The kids tried out different training methods and learned new exercises. A week later, on March 1, the Spring Tournament took place in Sušice for the club's U10 (older beginners) and U12 (younger pupils) categories. Eliáš Sankot and Štěpán Rais started for the beginners — the first tournament start for both. Eliáš took third place and Štěpán just missed the podium in fourth. In the younger pupils, Matyáš Rais, Michal Váňa, Vojta Mareš, and Milan Čmolík competed. Matyáš fought his way to a silver medal; Milan unfortunately lost his bronze medal match and took 5th place. Michal and Vojta mainly gathered experience.
On Sunday, March 2, Karolína Fojtíková and Barbora Kadlečková had a training camp in Plzeň attended by judoka from the Pilsen, Karlovy Vary, and South Bohemia regions. For the girls it was preparation for the Czech Cup in Ostrava, one of the biggest tournaments in our country — 1,253 judoka from 16 countries took part. It was the girls' first time at an event this big, so they mainly gathered new experience. Both gave the competition everything, but neither reached the medals. Even so, we thank them for representing our club.
