I must still mention the last tournaments, held in November and December. On November 23, a tournament took place in Domažlice with 17 of our charges competing. Barbora Kadlečková and Matyáš Kobsa fought their way to first places, Michal Váňa and Tomáš Hančík took second, and Michal Hrbáč, Klára Kadlečková, Václav Kule, and Barbora Šmůlová finished third. November also saw a tournament in Beroun where we had competitors as well: B. Kadlečková and M. Kobsa won silver medals, while Štěpán Hrábek and Maxim Kleisner fought their way to bronze. December belonged mainly to Christmas tournaments — M. Kleisner took second place at the Christmas tournament in Teplice, and M. Kobsa also took second at the Prague Advent tournament.
January is all about collecting the first points for the U14 category, which secure participation in the Czech national championships. In the new year I wish all competitors plenty of luck and health — may all their sporting dreams come true.
